The porcelain full crown is a full crown prosthesis made of porcelain powder under high temperature and vacuum conditions. It is featured by high strength, low heat conduction, non-conductivity, abrasion resistance, color matching, stable color and good biocompatibility. It is an ideal prosthesis. Because it has high brittleness and is easy to rupture, metal porcelain restoration is recommended now. However, as long as indications are strictly controlled, the design and production are reasonable, the porcelain full crown also has very good effect.
Indications
1.Persons with large area defects of incisal corner and edge of anterior teeth.
2. Persons with great defect of proximal surface of anterior teeth or multiple defects of crown.
3.Persons whose anterior teeth affect appearance due to inactivation, dental fluorosis, tetracycline staining, etc.
4.Persons whose anterior teeth affect appearance due to developmental malformations or dysplasia.
5.Persons who are not easy to receive orthodontic treatment due to dislocation or reversal.
Contraindications
1.Persons with defects of deciduous teeth and adolescent permanent teeth and vital pulps.
2.Persons whose occlusal force is too large or anterior teeth are prone to fracture due to jobs.
3.Persons whose anterior teeth have serious abrasion and edentulous teeth are not corrected.
4.Persons whose teeth are too short and too small, unable to get enough retention.
5.Persons whose teeth defects are serious, lack of resistance.
6.Persons whose periodontal disease is not suitable for retention restoration.
