It is a prosthesis consisting of a dental implant and its supported superstructure. The dental implant, also known as the lower structure, is made of artificial materials and consists of a body, a neck and a pile. It is surgically implanted into the jaw region or under the periosteum. The upper structure is similar in structure to the removable or fixed dentures, and some of them are only artificial crowns, and some are more complicated, consisting of artificial teeth, base, metal stent, fixing bolts and attachments, etc. The superstructure is connected to the pile of the implant by various connections.
